With a heart filled with sorrow for the eternal flight of Joseph Nye, the former president of Harvard University and US Secretary of Defense with whom I had the honor working and accompanying his team of colleagues for many years, I offer my condolences to his esteemed family and the faculty of Harvard University and his friends and I wish him eternal peace.

Lady Jamil Kharrazi kicks off the new year by joining the Board of Trustees of Park University of Missouri. Park University is a private non-profit organisation which offers courses in the liberal arts accessible and affordable by all. The University’s international music department has consistently excelled throughout the United States since 1875. During a ceremony with a special concert last week, the University decorated lady Kharrazi with the badge of honour and announced her membership of the Board of Trustees..
Park University will organise a concert at the Hall of Fame in Kansas City in March 2022 and another in Carnegie Hall, New York in May 2022. These concerts will host several personalities and heads of states and Lady Kharrazi has also been invited to both concerts as an honorary guest.

Scott Wagner the Mayor pro Tem of Kansas City presented Lady Kharrazi with the key to the city on Dec 6. During an hour long meeting in the City Hall the Mayor highlighted the economic growth and development of the City during the past decade and encouraged Lady Kharrazi to consider Kansas City as an ideal City for investment in real state and in particular for Senior Housing Projects. Lady Kharrazi expressing her appreciation to Mr Wagner indicated that this was her 3rd visit to the City and said Kansas City is one of the most liveable cities in the United States and that she would certainly consider it as the next destination for the expansion of her US development projects.

Lady Jamil Kharrazi attended a recital and gala dinner at the French Ambassador’s London residence on 13th Dec 2017. The event was in support of the charity Dispensaire Francais-Societe Francaise de Bienfaisance (French Clinic and French Benevolent Society) and to celebrate its 150th anniversary. The charity includes amongst it benefactors HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
